Should I be assisting new ECAs I've referred to set up their store and products? If yes, how best can I assist them?

In my opinion, I believe that as a referrer of ECAs you should be equipped with the necessary information to assist your ECAs in establishing themselves on TripleClicks. Having a short “How it is done” session I think will most definitely prove to them that you are knowledgeable of the program you are introducing them to.

1. Assisting with the picture requirements for the products is an integral part of posting items on the TripleClicks platform.

2. Writing item description is also an area where much assistance may be needed especially if the person is from a small home-based business.


3. Showing how to comparing selling prices of similar products available on SFI and other marketing site would be beneficial. Therefore you may have to show them how to perform a search on TripleClicks. The essence of this is to make them competitive on the platform. The more they earn, the you earn.

4. Show them where SFI affiliates will connect with them and how they can communicate with those SFI members.

Basically, just play it by air and be willing to offer assistance if and when it is needed.

Hello!

I would say 'yes'.

Just referring an ECA will probably get you nowhere because a lot of people are still new to online business - most of them won't know how to upload a product. And even if they do, if they don't understand the importance of advertising online, you will not earn more than the initial 100 Action VP that you got when they uploaded the first product.

It would be great if you know your ECAs personally. Then they would not hesitate to tell you what they need help with. The difficulties they might have:

- registering the ECA
- uploading products
- writing good product descriptions
- what to write in their Refund Policy
- calculating the Shipment costs
- sending the product and filling in the order
- cash-out related questions

It seems all straightforward to you and me, but it's not for people who don't have much online experience. So, when you invite them to the world of e-commerce, they expect a detailed tour. Be a great guide, and they won't give up on TripleClicks. And if they don't, you will earn commissions for life!

It would be best to sit with them over coffee and help them face-to-face. If they live to far away, and you referred them online, you can give instructions via email or How to Youtube videos (yours or somebody else's).

And don't worry, once they have understood how it's done, they won't need you any more, and you can help some new ECAs of yours.

The answer is YES you can, and you can offer them assistance in various aspects of their business from the Initial set up stage to the advanced marketing stages later.

SFI already offers support and help to new ECA's in follow up, product listing etc That is why after you refer an ECA and they take the first Initial step of sign up, SFI informs you that your work in dealing with this ECA is literally done. Not suggesting that you should now grab yourself a cup of coffee and relax and watch the money start flowing in but that TripleClicks is offering great support to help your ECA's get started.

However, in spite TripleClick's clear Instructions for setting up an ECA store, it is still a good idea for you to help them.

I have noticed that most ECA prospects either don't want to do the job of setting up their store or are simply very lazy and so keep postponing doing it altogether. This causes unnecessary delays. Here's where you come in.

Offer to Offload that burden from them and you will have a 98% success rate with ECA's doing business with you. Kindly note that this may require you to;

1. Have the necessary knowledge and basics of setting up an ECA store.

2. If possible be an ECA yourself because this gives you experience and knowledge in handling ECA prospects

In the Initial stages of the ECA store's set up, offer to do some market research for them. Find out the Hottest selling products online and advise them to list those hot sellers first in their store. Offer them Tips and reports on market trends etc

Help them by writing clear product descriptions, product features and their benefits. Also help them by writing concise presentations about their products.

Connect with their ECA stores so your a2a friends can see the ECA's you connect with and if you are successfully promoting your ECA's products, the fire will catch on and spread bringing you residuals from those that decide to promote your ECAs.

Advise them to offer attractive competitive prices for their products to have a competitive advantage. Most ECAs already tend to charge a somewhat lower price than they offer elsewhere. There are also options for ECAs to create special weekly sales, designate closeout prices etc

A higher commission volume to Affiliates promoting this ECA would be a great advantage too because many Affiliates would want to promote a product with bigger pay parks.

Lastly one of the BEST ECA tips you can give them is this:

TripleClicks requires that all ECAs pay a minimum of 15% of the sale price of their products to TripleClicks. However if you suggest to them about why they should consider a higher percentage?

There are two reasons why they should if they can:

1. The higher the percentage, the higher SFI displays their products in search results.

2. TripleClicks has tens of thousands of affiliates who will be promoting their products and will naturally gravitate toward the products with the highest margins because this earns them higher sales commissions as previously mentioned and that means great residuals and commissions to you for the life of that ECA.

I have generally found out when recruiting ECAs that it is wise to start locally by pitching the very shops you go to shop in every week because it's easier and faster due to the Camaraderie you share with them. Always do it FREE and at no cost to them and they shall be happy to do business.

This question has an obvious YES answer. We should take note that we will be getting 10% of the Commission Value (CV) as royalty for all items that our ECA sold. So, we should make sure that they are able to set up their stores and upload their products so that they can start making sales.

Let me share how I helped my ECA's to start getting sales.

1. First of all I applied to be an ECA myself so that I can experience how to be one myself. I had two purposes when I joined ECA program. First I want to sell my service of making blog and second I want to gain experience to be an ECA and invite and assist my PSA's to become one.

2. Once they become an ECA you should review to them the process and rules and benefits of becoming an ECA. These information is found here http://www.tripleclicks.com/ECA/ECAGW.php.

3. You should brainstorm with them about their products and the selling strategies. One important thing that you should discuss is the balance between the price and the shipping cost.

4. Teach them to have good pictures and descriptions of their products.

5. The uploading is quite easy when they are in their ECA account. But in case they don't know then you can personally assist them when they are near you or through skype if they are far from you.

6. Teach them how to promote their products using the product links. They can promote their product inside SFI by sending messages to their uplines,downlines and a2a friends OR outside SFI, in Face Book for example.

7. Once he gets his first sale, teach him how to fulfill the delivery the fastest possible time. The best way to do this is you buy the first item from him. They will not just be encourage by your support but they can learn the whole process with you.

It appears that ECAs are gaining a great deal of interest among Affiliates. Your question is the second in this subject, today. Other questions are being asked in the Forum as well as among Affiliates interacting with one another. This is a highly positive development.

Affiliates have vested interest in helping their ECAs be successful. That success will reflect on Tripleclicks and in all affiliates. It will make SFI more attractive to potential partners and future Affiliates. We all will benefit from it

There are three areas where we can make a positive difference for the ECAs, improve their introduction into Tripleclicks and their overall image within SFI and outside.

1. Choosing the market niches and presenting their products in a very attractive manner, to respond to market trends. Some preliminary research may be needed to that. In the line of their current business, what are the new trends that appeal the most to customers? How to build on that information and set up e-commerce presence that would be successful? ECAs will need to update this analysis on a regular basis

2. Product description with features and benefits. A clear presentation will go a long way in attracting and keeping customers.

3. Helping ECAs connect with as many Affiliates as possible and working with them to promote, and market products as well as help them successful address customer service issues. Any affiliate may promote the products of any ECAs and get paid commissions.

Yes you can assist any new ECAs you refer to set up their stores but that assistance should be within some limits. In my opinion, the most beneficial assistance you can render to any ECAs you refer is to encourage them to study and be very familiar with SFI products listing rules. That done, encourage them to ensure they comply fully with the rules when listing their products. If they follow your advice, they will not have any major listing challenges that may warrant your intervention unduly.

The next step is to address the common concerns of many new ECAs. Some of these concerns usually center on:

How will I list my products?
How do I promote my products?
How do I package and ship my products?
With what currency do I sell my products?
How do I get paid for any products I sell?
What does it cost me to list my products?

These concerns may be infinite and many may actually arise after the ECA has read the listing rules. I believe the best assistance you can render your new ECAs at this juncture is to address these concerns and related ones as best you can but within limits. Because of these limits and ECA individuality/independence concerns, it may be preferable to allow the ECAs themselves to raise these issues with you before you address them. That to my mind is the best way to avoid undue interference in the business affairs of your new ECAs.

I am totally committed to the ECA programme and believe there is much we can do to assist our members.
Firstly lend them a hand when uploading all their details for their new ECA on-line store. Ensure that their photographs are clear so that prospective buyers know what they are looking at!
Secondly, and most important, assist your ECA's by promoting their products wherever possible.
Write a "blurb" about their store, add your SFI Gateway URL that readers click on at the end of your advertisement and post on as many internet sites as you can.
I am from South Africa and we, as a country, are certainly not as advanced about "cyber buying" as many other nations. However, SFI has already listed almost 170 ECA's in our country, many of whom are really benefiting joining SFI.
I have found that the most effective way in which I can promote my chosen ECA's is by posting their products on free community internet sites. Judging by my hit-rate, I am confident that this method is working.

While your ECA will have their own ideas about products and prices, you should connect with their store and help them to promote it. Moreover, if they have any concerns about listings, hot deals, and multiple listings be prepared to assist any way you can. Be aware of the application process. The more you know then more you can help. But even if you don't know, never say you can't help. Let them know that you will find an answer and get back with them asap.

The best support you can give your ECA is to promote their store alongside there efforts to promote it. We all need all the promotion we can muster to create sales. When you help them make sales, they are more productive and you benefit by having a strong ECA that produces a 10% royalty to your commissions.
