I certainly don't think you have to do that. Its like intervening in their own business. While you could make your downline part of your co-op, it would a kind of lordship over them to force them to do what might not be their goal. You could advice them and again its for them to take it or not. I have 10 of my downline that have not visited SFI since they enrolled over 3 weeks ago.Setting up coop for them would be for someone that has not even gotten started.
Anyone of us in SFI that wants to stay active will obviously do.Do not forget that many people have any impression that you could make quick wealth from SFI. Not working your self to greatness.
A serious downline will visit his Homepage daily and study the LunchPad and other form of trainings.The more he gets to his Homepage daily,the more he learns a new thing and gets better in his own co-op.

Definitely, YES! If you use it to reward those who have become EA or higher, that is good. I would not, however, place those who are not working the business into the co-ops. If a person genuinely wants to do something in his/her business and needs help with advertising and desires to join, you can give information on how to do so. I like to send in my affiliate letters information on the co-ops and how to join and congratulate those who are EA or higher. Also, it's a good idea to let affiliates who want to join otherwise know the cost (if any) of the shares and how to make payments each month. I sometimes put messages about the co-ops in my Stream posts as well. If a person is willing to work to become a leader, then you should include him/her. If a person does not continue to work at this, drop those who lag behind and do not continue to get results.

If your downline is actually putting up cash money to be a part of the co-op, I'm sure they will be much more active. I know I am when my cash is on the line, I want to squeeze every penny out of it that I can.

I do think that a co-op is a great support mechanism but the affiliate must also show some level of motivation. The co-op would definitely motivate me because I am in this for the long haul. So when I run my co-op I will be looking for like-minded individuals that is committed to their business. It is all working your way to the individuals that want help and have a desire to succeed.

Setting up a co-op for your downlines is a great idea, bur whether they will be active or remaining active depends basically on your mentoring ability. Do not leave them to chance. Get across to them always.

Great answers. I am against giving your downline something for free with nothing in return. Its like enabling your kids.

I believe they need to earn, then they will appreciate it. I say that from experience. I had 4 co-op shares a month and I did give my downline a few members but they did not work the leads and they went away.

If your downline puts forth effort, then I say give them a few and see what they do with it.

Yes, but here's my advice do a Co-op for those with standing orders only, why.? well they are your most committed Leaders and helping them build their teams will definitely get them More Active

I think that having a Co-Op is a great incentive for your downline. It could possible get some members active that were not active before. In the end though affiliates are either going to remain active active and work the business or their not. You could offer them free entry to a Co-Op and if they are just not into the business or don't want to put for the effort then nothing you could offer them would keep them active.

I say that having a Co-Op is an excellent idea and it can possibly show you who is truly interested in growing their business.

Yes. Getting signups can be a huge motivation to dig in and get busy. It can motivate the Internet novice or those who are struggling to get signups from their own actions. It is difficult when you don't know the best places to place your ads.

No. Some people will stop trying to find the best ways and sites to advertise. This will rob them of a great skill training opportunity. Then there is the problem of the non starters. They might sign up for a co-op but never check back. The signups coming in under them will be left leaderless.

Conclusion. There is the good and the bad, but I thing the good outweighs the bad.

What I have seen to work is that if you co-op the co-op with your team, that is, split the cost of the co-op with them, you will find out real fast who is serious about building their businesses here at SFI and who isn't.
