Actualy, I do not find that people jump to participate in contests that often. So what I do is offer co-op shares to those who attain EA2 or higher ranks. The higher the rank the more shares I offer. This applies to all of my team, not just PSAs or CSAs. I sometimes give an affiliate some TCredits when only a few VP are needed to reach the next level.

As far as gift certificates are concerned, I'm very careful about offering gift certificates to affiliates, because some of them want

"How do I get my downline members to participate in my team contests?"

I always try to understand my self fist and than i try to understand the others.

In this particular case i would ask myself " why would I participate in such a contest".

Just ask yourself that simple question "Why would i take part in this contest of mine".

I believe that you will find an answer to that easily.

Once you do, share that answer trough

You cannot force the horses to drink even when you already took them to the river. The best thing that you can do is to make such running contest of yours attractive as much as possible to your team mates by discussing what it can give or how it will benefit them so that they will not feel that you are forcing them. You can sent such informative type of messaging through the SFI-provided team mail messaging or regular mail. If you can do such thing, for sure your active affiliates will voluntarily

Send out a reminder in your weekly newsletter and be sure to recognized anyone who is completing the task. Ask for feedback on what your team would like to see as prizes in future contest. Get them involved in the planning to get them involved at all stages of the process. Make sure they understand exactly what they are winning, how it benefits them, and what is needed to win.

How do I get my downline members to participate in my team contests?

I think it's best if you do not write off global competition, but always within the same level.
Between different levels, not just the competition, they enjoy a higher level, a significant advantage. Thereby, the lower level, discouraged repealed, yet also on what she was doing.

Another very important factor is the commission rate. The different levels, different rewards worth to

Hello Beatrice Nwali,
that's a good question.
Your downline members will participate in your contests, for sure, if you send them a team mail and anounce that a competition is starting. And of course, you should write down
everything about it. What they should do to became qualified for contest, when it starts, and when ends, and of course what is the prize.
Everybody will participate if they're qualified, that's for sure. Everybody love getting free stuff, so anounce with a bells

When you say contest, can I assume there is a prize of sorts at the end of it?
If so, how do you know if it is a prize that motivates your team to get involved in the first place? Have you asked them?

I would write a team-mail out asking your team what THEY would like as a prize. If they tell you its TCredits or gift cards etc then you know that there should be sufficient interest from them to be involved in the contest!

Team Contest are great ways to inspire your team members.

All active members some how participate in all team contests but we all try hard to get our inactive members become active and participate in team contest.

Inactive members are really a worry for all Team Leaders and making them active is a tough job.

Still ,contests with easier goals to achieve attracts few of them.

You must make it interesting! Prices must be attractive to your Team members then they'll want to give their best to try to win, to be the best. Send mails each week untill the end of contest and keep them informed how they stand. Let them know that is good for them and their job to try to be as best as they can.

Make the goal easy to earn. I give TC for filling out the Profile to get them started. Then more for earning 400vp PLUS a share of my team coop. Another share of the coop and more TC for making EACH. After that, SHirts, gift certificates, all kinds of things. Get them hooked on winning early, and most of them things will keep going.
