This question cannot be answered simply by saying either auto-bidder or no auto-bidder and that is because both these can be used effectively to win auctions.

The auto-bidder can be great if you do not have the time to spend clicking bids and you have a large amount of TCredits. If you do decide to use the auto-bidder, I would recommend that you have a look at the auction in progress, determine how many bidders are on auto-bidder and then decide if you will do the same. Bidding against other auto-bidders can be expensive. Determine also if this is the right time to go on auto-bidding.

If you see a mini price war going on with the bidding, stay out of it and let them fight it out and then if you can come in and HAMMER the winner with your auto-bidder. Hopefully the other bidder is weakened and you win the auction.

Can you wait until the price is near what you think will be the final auction price and then activate your auto-bidder?

You see it's all to do with strategy and its all up to you!

Bidding without an auto-bidder can be very laborious and time consuming. I often see people who have spent long periods on these auctions actually pay more for the items than they would otherwise have. They have invested so much time and TC on the auction and then become stubborn and refuse to be beaten.

If you can use a combination of auto-bidding and non auto-bidding at the auctions. That is my suggestion. One method is not better than the other.

There are a number of factors that will impact on whether or not auto bidding will be effective.

One of the key things with any auction is the time of day when it starts and ends, you will generally find that during the hours of night time in the USA you will stand a greater chance of being able to win an auction at a significantly lower price, for those such auctions auto bidding can be a sure fire way of being able to win the auction, though place a few manual bids to get a feel for how many others are chasing the same product on the auction.

For auctions where there are a lot of people bidding, you may find that if you were to use auto bidding you could use up a lot of tcredits, and that being the case you would have to weigh up closely just how much the auction is really going to cost you when you add on the cost of bidding (tcredit purchases)

With all auctions the best thing you can do is observe them closely and only start bidding when you think that it is getting towards the end of the auction (when the timer stays at lower values).
Approach all auctions with caution and rational thought, it can be easy to get caught up in the fun of bidding, but really, if you don't watch you could end up spending more than you really want to, sometimes even more than the item is worth!

I personally feel that not using the auto-bidder has its advantages; for one thing, it stops prices from rising quickly, which means side-bidders (those willing to wait outside of the main bidding war) can wait, conserve their T-Credits, and wait for the major bidders to exhaust their supply (or make the price of the item effectively unaffordable for them). For example, suppose you get two people bidding up some item to the price of $2.00. Each of them would have spent 100 T-Credits so far, which at a minimum price of $.29 each, amounts to $29.00, in addition to the other $2, or a total of $31.00. Meanwhile, a fresh bidder would effectively spend $2.01 + .29 = $2.30 to steal it away if they're so lucky as to win at that point.

The biggest advantage of not using the auto-bidder is that you have more control over your bids and their timing. If you have time and the stamina, your best strategy is to always wait until the clock has run down before bidding. This means you spend the fewest possible T-Credits because any *other* bidders are the one hiking the price, not you, and the cost in T-Credits, as we've seen, far outweighs the penny increments. Doing this means that an auction will go *far* longer, which also increases the likelihood that others will get exhausted... although it also allows more new bidders in.

Now, with the autobidder, it is possible to win any auction, simply by pouring more T-Credits in than anybody else; however, these are likely to be pyrrhic victories, where the amount that you spend in credits outweighs the value of the item. This is why I feel it's better to take the hands-on approach and not use it.

Well! Both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. Auto bidder is a tool which allows you to keep always on top of the auction but it can also cost you huge money at times. There are tricks to use this tool and i can say you some of its personal experience.

Use autobidder when you see there are only few bidders left in the auction and the timer starts going to zero number of times. In these cases you have maximum chance to make a win.

Do not use autobid when someone is already on it. It can cost you huge money and leave you no where near a win.

Normal bidding is good when there are multiple players with one in autobid or may be all in normal bidding. This is useful at occasions when the timer does not goes to zero. You can just use it to keep the auction alive with occasional bidding and go for the autobid when the situation is perfect.

Which is the best will depend on the item and the other players in the auction. I have watched many auctions and have seen people use many more TCredits than they are bidding for. To me this is a total waste of money. I watched someone use more than 400 TCredits bidding for a 300 TCredit pack. They were using auto bidder!

I can also say the only auction I have ever won was by using auto bidder. I had to leave the house and so I set the auto bidder to click in at a certain point and use up to 50 credits. When I got home I had one the auction and it had only used 27 of my TCredits. So I would say that was luck and not skill.

No matter whether you are going to be using manual bidding or auto bidding I would suggest you watch quite a few auctions to see what goes on. Learn when it is advantageous to use the auto bidder, and also learn when it is time to pull the plug and forget about your losses. Yes there are going to be losses so be aware and don't gamble more than you can afford to lose.

Great question, from my own personal experience I would tell you couple things to consider, there are many different type of Auctions thou they all look the same they are not, we have
1. (1WA) Auctions
2. JR Auctions
3. Feature Auctions
4. Big Dog Auctions
5. No Auto bidder Auctions
And each of these Auctions require a different type of planing and execution for example if you are a new affiliate and you get into the Big Dog Auction and you use the Autobidder you will be very disappointed when you see all of your Tcredicts desapear fast, for new Affiliates the (1WA) Auctions and JR Auctions are the best and the Autobidder can be use after you get yourself familiar on how it works, I had won all of the 9 wins limits on JR Auctions with Autobidder, thou I must tell you the each Auction requires a different amount of Tcredicts my adviced use the Autobidder with care, never spend more then you can afford play according to your skills, watch and learn, get to know your opponents many times you will See the same bidders, set up a budget and stick with your plan.!

Personally, I prefer to use manual bidding, but I have used the auto-bidder. In fact, the one time I used the auto-bidder, I started off with more than 300 TCredits. I had to end up buying more, and still lost the bid.

There are just too many variables to depend solely on auto-bidding. (1) Time of the auction; (2) Value and significance of the product you are bidding on; (3) How many people are participating in the auction at the time; and, of course, (4) The amount of TCredits you are playing with. You'll need a lot!

Depending on the product being bid on, the number of people participating in the auction, the time of day and amount of TCredits you have, it may benefit you greatly to use the auto-bidder more so than manual bidding. My suggestion is, if you use the auto-bidder, you should have many TCredits on hand.

If you are a beginner, you should never use auto-bidder option as you may end up using too many TCredits and soon go out of budget. Instead, just place the bid manually and first learn the bidding strategies from other experienced bidders.

At the same time, if you are a pro-bidder and you are well stocked with hundreds of TCredits, you may opt for auto-bidder.

At the end of the day, it all depends on your mind set when you are bidding. If you are ready to spend unlimited TCredits and not bothered about your budget, go for auto-bidder. Else simply be patient and click on 'Bid now' button manually.

Many affiliates use manual bidding as well auto-bidding in their PriceBender’s auction bids for varied reasons. Some of these reasons do not really have anything to do with actually winning the auctions. Some bidders use them separately while others use them in combination. What probably determines which is better depends on what the bidder wants to achieve and what strategy he/she has in place. Like everything with automation, the level of human intelligence input is minimal so there is a tendency to misread the intentions of your fellow bidders and even to miss the trend at times. While bidding to win, the intention is to outwit and to outbid your fellow bidders and that requires some level of intelligence in your bids. That intelligence is something manual bidding can always fall back on as the bidding progresses. That alone makes manual bidding a better strategy to win these auctions instead of auto-bidding. If you have sufficient time and energy to spend on bids, I personally will recommend manual bidding over auto-bidding in auctions like PriceBenders taking into consideration the strong and weak points of both as highlighted above.
