This is interesting question. You see, there is no special knowledge about this, or some technique. This is a "game" between people who have more TCredits, and who will pay product for the lowest price. You can pay attention on difference between time zone, maybe on the biding speed. If biding is fast, you can conclude that there is a lot of people on the auction. But, if biding is slower, you can conclude that there is a few people and you have a chance to win there. Maybe the best way is to start with 1st win auction, after that with Double MRP and Junior auction.

There is no sure way of how to win Pricebenders auction. That is why, it is an auction after all. However, here are some tips I can advice;

Before you bid on any auction, observe one or two auctions and see how people bid on items to the end of the bid to enable you understand Pricebenders auction.

Understanding auctions is very important, because it will tell you when to participate in an auction or not.

Don't be over zealous participating in bids, this could deplete all you TCredits and leave you with nothing. Set you budget and please, stick to it, you mustn't win every auction you bid on.

For first timers, look out for auctions that are not too expensive, because strong bidders are not attracted to them. Note, fewer bidders means your chances of winning are higher.

I am NOT an expert but have won few auctions and this is just few tips to help....
1
you need to have enough TC.... let be realistic you can not pretend to win 300tc if you have only 125 tc....you need at least 300 and more to win.
Most people think it is luck to win!!! i think it is 5% luck ...Ok i will explain
when you see people win at $1.25 or less it because those peolpe have made a Name ...i mean they are notorious everyone is scare of them because they are big guns..
similar to western film as soon as the big gun enter the saloon most people start leaving..
how do you who is big gun???
Go to latest winner and you probably see that person havenjust won another 300tc or 500Tc
2-Do your homework
*check the latest winner before bid
*check the history price before the beginning of the auction
Go to game pick the price to check history (type of auction, time,....)
*Know who is bidding by checking the Bid LOG on the right hand side check also where they are from...why.... some countries are notorious on tc so be careful .. you can check it yourself by looking at their flag so if you want to go for this kind of auction try when they are asleep for example.
3-time
there are busy period example usa awake is always busy but they are time like school rush hour or Asian rush hour and so on it depends where you leave
4-strategy and basic rule
Now you have some idea let reassure you that you can still win with 125tc if after doing your home work you do not go for
Fancy products like ipad ,tc,mac
you go for csas junior for example but choose when it less busy
Another thing do not be full by first time winner auction there are a lot out there so they are costly check it..
5-Another thing i want to share try to bid on the go by using tablet or your phone to save valuable time or missing opportunity more importantly use those device to watch and learn..
6-Another one...To go against big gun you need to wait till they fight each other or he has fight against someone else and you can take your chance providing you still have enough credit..
Finally read the rule it is important because the good news there are some limitations for big guns like 4 auctions in a week and 12 in months.. (try to know some of them) so you can use this and wait for your turn and not to rush into it...be patient wait till it said going going one or two times even sometimes let it go ...

Don't forget there are Tripleclicks members bidding too who are not members of SFI.
This is trial and error for all of us.

I just bid to get double mrp credits,so I try not to raise the price for others by bidding early.If I want to win,I go first to the Pick a Price area and find a like auction.

Be sure to check time of day,and average out the cost of it went for.

By next years end,I hope to be a GTL and be able to afford hunderds of T credits and bid as a hobby.Till then,I am being cautious.

You have 100% guarantee of winning any auction only if you have at least one lakh t-credits. There are many types of auctions like Newbie, Junior, Double points,Big Dog, Winner's Bid Free, etc. If you want to increase your winning chance choose Newbie auction. It is for those who never won any auction. Before entering auction keep in hand a handsome t credits (at least 200 in my opinion). You can use auto bidder but very carefully. During bidding also see the profiles of other bidders in bidding log. You can guess weather they are strong or weak opponent. If Strong at once quit from that auction and try another. Time is also very important factor here. Try this when most of bidders are sleeping in their respective countries.

There is a little planning that I put into my Price Bender Bidding.

First of all. I have my standing order of T Credits monthly.
From this I can be awarded 1 PSA for 50 T credits spent up to 2 PSA's daily.
Even if I lose the auction, I've won because I have two new PSA's on my team.

Also I look for the new affiliate auctions. If you have under 9 wins, you are allowed to bid in these auctions. I like to choose CSA's because they are not as hot an item as PSA's and I genially win with less T credits on auto bid. Once my earnings are higher, I'll buy more T credits monthly and go for the PSA's as well.

I also choose my time of day and day of the week carefully. If there's a football game on I find SFI to be less active. Certain times of the day for me have shown a pattern of lighter bidding and lower priced wins. It took me a while to see the pattern.

Good question ! I want to tell you that after I lost a few auctions , I developed a tactic to be a winner . What advice would you give ? The first and most important thing is to learn how to make a bid. SFI offers invaluable information if you open the page " How it works " , but for a beginner is inconclusive . The second and most effective way to learn is to watch a few auctions from start to finish without playing .
You have to do the following steps:
a. Follow auction program , and open at the time it is announced early ;
b . Look carefully at the following data displayed - b1 . How auctioned product cost , b2 . What was the bet closing auction price ; b3 . From what value the auction starts , and here you should know that it generally presumed to go up to the value of b2 ; b4 - develop watching the screen 180 degrees , because you have to see simultaneously the following information: successive inputs bettors ( bottom right corner ) , clock ( top center ) , and you must activate and beep warns you entering the last 10 seconds. You will notice that auctions start at 45 sec , and up to the second 1 is likely to be a new cry. Do not think that the second one is that it is always winning , very often there is a gambler who raises . As the auction value approaches the presumed value , subtract the start time from 45 seconds to 30 sec , 25 sec , etc. Only the auction here comes the real show . You will see that a number of players who have raised TCredits lot, out of the game , and get new ones . These are the experts . One of them will win !!!
For starters it is enough that I gave information . Remember: In SFI have to learn all the time, and only then invest !
From the technical point of view is one big problem - need to have a good browser , and attachments in the device's normal operation , so as to indicate you uninterrupted clock timings . If you do not like something , you lose , no matter how good you are!

In my opinion, you should first follow all the auctions and see when there is at least player.Then as a beginner you should go on auction in which only those who have not yet won any auction and to have 1Wa-first win auction.If you want to win you have to have at least 100 tc although this is not the certainty that you will win.Auction junior also are good for beginners but I still suggest 1wA auctions.Hit first bid and go all the way if someone turns on auto bider cancel because do not know how many tc but keep following the auction.

I've only been here a short time, but I would say, patience. If you don't have that, don't play. Secondly, TCredits...enough to be about to bid one after another quickly in order to be the last one to hit the button in that final millisecond.
Don't be concerned when you don't win many at first, the more you do it, the more you get the hang of how to finesse' the things and win more.
Try the auctions that are for people that have never won, (1WA) or auctions for those who have only won 1-9 auctions ever (Jr.). Stay away from Big Dog auctions for obvious reasons. Rejoice when you win and spread the word!

For starters, take a look as much as you can at some auctions for products you have an interest in. The previous bidding prices, and in case of a running auction, see who's bidding.

Make sure you have enough T credits, i'd say a minimum of 50, 100 would be even better.
if you don't have that many credits, Do not use the autobid feature, as you'll blow all your valuable t credits a way fast.

Watch how it's going, is there many competition, wait out, till it slows down. when the counter starts to get to the final 10 seconds often, then start your bidding, still watch what your competition is doing though.

this is what i do, and i have won a couple of times, without wasting to many T credits.
