I really do not understand the nature of your question.

If you mean by demoted, each month every affiliate's Versa Points revert back to 0 in order to attain the 1500 VPs to achieve EA status and commission Even PTLs are in the same situation.. You must explain to them that it works that way. You have to work in order to be paid.

I am perhaps a little bit curious about the question as I am with SFI for more than to years and never aspired to be a team leader without an effective down line, so the much to my understanding SFI does not demote anyone but it stands out to be the choice of the affiliates personal goal as to where they want to be as this happens to be his/her own business. SFI encourages everyone to promote and not demote.This is my understanding about SFI.

When we see that we may not make our rank, we may feel a sense of failure or demotion. It's a natural feeling, in everyone, to feel like we are letting somebody or ourselves down when we don't accomplish something we have set out to do. Unfortunately, we have all felt this way at some point in our lifetime.

Fortunately, we are all still here, aren't we? We all learned to bounce back from that feeling and pushed harder to overcome and not let it happen again.

This is the attitude that we must instill in our affiliates. Bad things will happen, but we can't concentrate on the negatives. SFI is set up to allow the affiliates who are ready to advance, move up in rank. Those affiliates that are not quite ready, unfortunately, need to come back down.

Just because we aren't recognized by a certain rank, doesn't mean that we lose all of the information and skills we have attained over time. We can now concentrate on becoming more of a leader by using that information and those skills. This will help us build a reliable and stable team to help us move back up in rank, when we are ready.

Building a foundation in this business, is key. We need to look to the positives. This business has been around going on 18 years now. It knows when we are ready to move up. Just follow the plan. If everybody gave up when they felt that they have failed, this business make it.
