Once you have achieved your goals for the month, go and edit the goals and set them higher.

It is very easy with a program like SFI to turn up every day, do what you normally do and slowly fail to achieve anything, because you are not doing anything particularly useful. By having a goal in mind, you challenge yourself, it makes you think about how you may achieve that goal, what should you be doing differently.

As soon as you start to really think how you are going to achieve that goal, you start doing more than the normal daily tasks, you start to research how you can achieve that goal, it adds some drive to you basic desire.

Setting goals is very important to becoming successful in SFI as well in any other endeavor that one may pursue. When we set or establish goals we are committing to a set of principles of our own choosing and in effect saying that we care.

Goal setting is important because we are establishing a set of criteria that we will do in order to achieve our ultimate goal. So the bottom line about setting goals is that, they are the steps of the ladder that we intend to climb to get there.

Last but not the least is the fact that when we set those goals we are establishing a routine to perform daily, weekly and monthly in order to attain the level of success that we are working toward.

The goal of everyone is to have their business with SFI successful. Our goal sets or defines what we aim, want or target for. It motivates us to adopt strategic actions directly aiming to attain what we want. Having a goal without taking any action is also worthless.

To have a successful business with SFI, one need to become first an executive affiliate every month. It is quite easy for those who can afford and have a standing order. Placing the order, one would be an executive affiliate.

What about to those who do not want to spend and/or can not really afford? There are ways to earn 1,500VPs and earn TCredits without any purchase. There got many reasons why we can not or have not started their business with SFI.

The reason why I pointed this out is to enlighten everyone that we need to have a mindset on what we want, focus ourselves doing the tasks asked for in our daily do list, learn and make use of many strategic marketing and power tools provided for, and share our knowledge to our downline so they would be like us.

Our success will depend on what our business would be,our actions we would undertake and effective marketing technique we would use.

Proper goal setting is a powerful tool.

Short term, mis term and long term goals draw us towards an achievement we seek.

SFI is goal oriented and we should all be pleased with the new goals tab in the daily to do list. Working alone provides opportunity to slack off. Setting a daily goal gives us something new to learn, an actionable task to forward our businesses and a daily reward when we achieve the goal.

Mid range goals are a bit bigger, a little more work and planning to reach. The rewards are more fulfilling as well. Perhaps a mini vacation or purchase you have held back on. Your business is also gaining traction because you see sales or sponsored affiliates. These are the fruit of your labor.

Long term goals may be a year down the road. But if you have knowledge and implement your training, it is possible to see those goals reached in a shorter spaces of time, because of your short and mid range goals being met.

Michelle Pescosolido is a very successful marketer I work with. Michelle set a goal to be earning a 6-figure income in 6 months. People laughed, yet she did it and retired her husband from his corporate job as well. Her daily goals are the vehicle she rode in on.

Goal setting is imperative for you to be successful in business as well as in life. Without goals you have no direction and without direction it is almost impossible to remain motivated for more than a couple of weeks.

You should have a list of short term and long term business goals, plus the things you want to accomplish with your business as your ultimate goal (like spending more time with family). You should also break them down to daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Post them in a prominent place where you have your work station so you can see and review them each day. Keeping concrete goals of why you started a business will keep you motivated through the tough times and keep you headed in the right direction.

It is not important just in SFI to set up a goal. In every day life we set up goals, even if we are not aware of them.
You wake up in the morning and go to work. Your goal is to get to work office on time, and You do the steps to reach it.
At the office, you have goals to achieve and earn salary.
When the weekend comes, Your goal is to rest and have fun.

Your first goal in SFI would be to log in everyday and do your daily duties, which include learning as much as possible about the business and earning VP at the same time.

This may seem like a chore to some, but if this was a bricks and mortar business, you would have to open your shop everyday and actually do some work.
You would soon go out of business if you didn't do this.

SFI is your business and should be treated as such.

Once you achieve your inital goal, it's time to look at the bigger picture and set some long term goals which you will achieve with work and effort.
Think about what you really want in life and then go out there and get it!
