From my own experience, my greatest challenge to success in SFI was MARKETING my business. Because I was unable to market my business effectively, I faced very tough challenges in selling products at Tripleclicks and even recruiting PSAs. I found out to my chagrin that because I could not recruit real active PSAs to grow my downline, succeeding in SFI became a real challenge. This challenge was exacerbated because:

- I was too shy to talk to people.
- I was not very good in internet marketing.
- I could not advertise my business effectively.
- My budget was very low for advertising.
- I was not learning very fast.
- I was not very optimistic.
- I was not even enthusiastic.
- I thought I was not smart enough for this kind of business.
- I did not believe in the usefulness of advertising my business.

How did I overcome these challenges? I sat down and thought long and hard. You know, I even considered quitting the business at some point. My saving grace was that I turned to fellow affiliates including my upline for help. That is what changed my thinking. That is when I discovered that all these factors which hitherto inhibited me from marketing my business effectively can be overcome by deliberate efforts. These efforts include reading/learning the business thoroughly, following the rules and using the tools provided to grow your business. Your upline, your sponsors and your a2a friends can also help you out to find a way to market your business effectively. From my experience in SFI, fellow affiliates willingly give to other affiliates free tips to market their business. This is aside from the free tips SFI Admin makes available to all affiliates on very regular basis. I have over time found these tips/opportunities to be very useful and have actually been using them. My business has been on the upswing ever since.

The biggest challenge I faced working towards success in SFI was motivation.

I had been burnt so many times in the past that I was just flitting from one program to the next without really taking the time to look at them properly.

I don't know what is was with SFI that made me stop and have a good look or maybe the timing was just right for me.

I still find myself lacking motivation occasionally but with SFI I decided I was going to give this a real go.

I took (what I thought was) a gamble and invested some money. I've done this in the past with other programs and all I've ever gotten was poorer. When I invested money here I actually got something back. I bought an SBuilder unit and suddenly I had the beginnings of a team. I had to make this work, for them.

After investing some money (note I didn't say spending some money) I had a reason to make this work. I had some ownership of it.

For those of you who suffer from a lack of motivation, ask yourselves if you are truely happy with your lot in life? Then bite the bullet and make an investment, take ownership of your business. You seriously won't regret it.

One thing that was a great challenge and had me deeply concerned was how to keep your Affiliates motivated as you grow your Active Team.How many times have you seen affiliates in your group fall by the wayside and die off?.Some never get started and some get started and still quit.I experienced this a lot in my own group and decided as a Leader that I had to do something about the attrition rate.It is normal for most people to seek advice from family and friends, but they have to get beyond seeking advice or opinions from people who do not have what they want or desire out of life.I got past all of this and realized that I must step up and be the person to bring out the best in people and take them from point from A to point B..so I came up with some solutions to this problem.

1.When affiliates join my group, I have to be the one to encourage them.

I always let them know that they will working toward building a monthly residual bonus check and this is not a quick rich business.Some will have a problem with this,especially when their check seem so small starting out and they can be easily discouraged.They must be consistent,focused, be patient,have fun,and do the things necessary to get the right results.They have to be willing to follow instructions and allow me to coach and train them..so I you must first lead by example.

2.Affiliates must know how they get paid in this business which is a very important step! They have got to study the compensation plan. Most don't take the time to understand it,so I try to constantly communicate this to them.


Here are examples of what I will say to an Affiliate in my group to keep them motivated

1.Most people are always in a hurry, and never take time to figure out how to make real money in SFI. The business is so simple that is just flies right over their heads.They are looking for the catch or the easy way out so they drop out or never really get started, become so overwhelmed with all the things they see to do,feel that they have too much to read,or can't see how they can really make any serious money doing it! I'm not trying to be longwinded (smile).I want to help you be successful if you allow me to,and are willing to be coached. Always check out what all the other successful people are doing in SFI.

2.I'm here to assist you..so learn all you can to grow your monthly residual checks and be willing to make commitments.I also suggest that you thoroughly study the compensation plan so will know exactly how you get paid.You want to know what you should be working toward so you can get paid well. Remember that SFI is not a quick get rich business, but it is stable and if you do the right things to get results, you can have unlimited income. If you want to get started correctly on the road to building your residual income check,we have a plan to help you do that and stay on track!

What is the challenge?

Helping prospective entrepreneurs to join SFI and helping them see the potential it offers

It is recruiting the right people, those who are willing to do their best, bringing them to SFI either as personally sponsored affiliate (PSAs) or e-Commerce Associates (ECAs).
Sponsoring PSAs and referring ECAs are about both
(i) educating people and helping them, and
(ii) opening their eyes to the unlimited opportunities available here.
We will discuss the challenge and how to overcome it.
I. The Challenge of Successfully Educating People about SFI, Helping them Join and Duplicate ours Efforts
Every team leader, or every Affiliate working to build their business and will have stories to share about failure and setbacks.
A. Struggle against Failures and Setbacks
It nearly happen to all of us every month if we are actively involved in sponsoring and/o9r actively referring.
I personally have had new affiliate scored fast tract, many became Executive Affiliates (EAs), others went as far a Bronze Team leaders (BTL). Despite this great start, all of the sudden they stop working, they disappear. As a team leader, we attempts to motivate them black. We send them email sand e-Cards, we try other ways to contact them.
B. Difficulty to re-qualify to our Highest Rank of Team Leader
Those of us who are Silver Team Leaders and Gold Team Leader, or even some of the newly qualified Platinum Team Leaders know very well the very difficult climb back to the highest Team Leader ranking we already achieved.
As our teams are not strongly built yet, we scramble here and there to meet the action points we need
We may find our own re-qualification jeopardized, any given month we are missing two or more EAs2 and one or two BTLs who fail to re-qualify. We have seen that also happening to other team leaders. It is common occurrence, that often, we notice somebody at a lower rank than they were the previous month.
C. Referral Proactive ECAs and Boosting our PRMs sales
Similarly, we have challenges in our efforts to build our network of e-Commerce affiliates and our online stores and products. This part is as equality important in increasing our residual income. The Money we make here and the points we may earn through e-commerce activity will bring about financial success as well as our ranking within SFI Leadership.
And solving this equation is as difficult as the previous one.
II. The Solution
There are two parts of it: two faces of the same coin.
(a) The ability to nurture our passion for SFI and
(b) Share that passion with potential prospects.
These are the keys to success with SFI and the way to overcome the challenge we face in recruiting.
We have to be passionate about SFI.
When we truly love what we are doing here, we take SFI as a business and very seriously, not only will we find the determination to remain steadfast, but we also will look at the challenge with a different frame of mind and we will look forward to doing every day what is necessary to overcome it.
This include
1. Relentless sponsoring
2. Building business relationship with our new affiliates
3. Assisting them in finding solutions to their own problems
4. Helping them grow their businesses
5. Building a Strong Team of Leader
When we build such a team, we will have overcome the challenge. Our SFI Business will be nearly on autopilot.
However, the successful SFI Team Leader will never stop sponsoring and referring.

"What was your greatest challenge to success in SFI...and how did you overcome it?"

My greatest challenge was reading all the materials and understanding it so that I could apply it to make money with SFI.

I overcame this by logging in daily, in fact it was the only thing besides eating I did in probably 36 hour period. My family thought I was spending too much time on the computer but I just told them I was job hunting as I had moved back home to live. I did job hunt as well however in between the phone calls I was building my business at SFI and learning everything I needed to know.

I did this faithfully each and every day, in a years time I hope to be working at home working for myself.

Yes that is right I want to fire my boss and in the next year, I have 9 Months to accomplish that. I am driven by my determination to do this and I need a few more players on my team with that same desire.

My time in SFI Has been a short one. Challenges are always present in any business and I look at them as a learning experience. I would say that for me what remains a exciting challenge is to ensure that the "Movers" in my Genealogy and those on my daily Homepage remain in focus and continue with the business.

This means that I have to adopt strategies to keep them on my team and maintain that interest consistently every month.
- to communicate with them regularly
- using Gift Cards to congratulate them or send an important message for a milestone in their business.
- organize competitions to enable them to participate in
- to impart whatever knowledge or ideas I may have to my team
- to continuously grow my Movers List by recruiting more members
- to show them the importance of investing in the business
- to explain why the idea of a quick rich scheme is not supported at SFI as it is a team effort
- to expose the Affiliates to the various resources that are available on SFI and TripleClicks that make it a interesting to stay on at SFI

It's very easy for Affiliates to opt out of the system if there is little or no support from me - I therefore must keep in regular touch with all the Movers because they are in a position to take the business to the next level of success.

i am disabled, and for a long time, I could do nothing as I spend my days in bed or on the couch, unable to sit up at the computer for even short periods of time. I was depressed and lost, as I used to be a trainer for one of the country's largest insurance companies. I did recruiting, sales training, sales and team building. It was long hours and lots of work - and I loved it. Being unable to do any physical activity led me to despair that I would never work again.

Although I still cannot get out and recruit like I would like to, I can run my new business from a tablet anywhere I am! Even on my worst days, I have found the strength to log in and do my daily tasks. I have made new friends with local affiliates, and we meet quarterly for brainstorming and sharing of ideas and resources. I am so excited to be doing what I love again!

There is no excuse not to succeed in this business! If I can do it, anyone can. I do it with only a small part of my Social Security check, and a lot of communication with my team! It only takes willpower, a goal, a plan and a computing device. (Even a Smart Phone will do the trick!) This company ha made me feel alive and vital again! Thanks SFI!!

My biggest challenge was joining in the first place! I had tried several online businesses in recent years, trying to create a home-based income. I spent a lot of money and time, only to be disappointed when you just get started, and now you have to pay to be part of a group for good training, you MUST have an auto-ship order to maintain your status, etc.

I sent several question-filled emails to my referrer, finally decided, one more time, to try an online business.

You have no idea how surprised - and delighted - I was to discover there were no hidden costs, orders required. And training!! My heavens, everything you can think of is in that training! And if something isn't clear, try the Forum. There is not much that cannot be answered by Somebody over the course of a few hours. And what learning when you read the posts and replies!!!...WOW

Now I am highly pleased to be part of a company that does everything in its power to assure all of us an even playing field, utmost fairness, caring, responsible responses to problems, etc., etc., etc.!!

To me the greatest challenge to success at SFI was motivation to keep going.

How I overcame this challenge, was to understand that I cannot let the actions of others determine if I will realize my dreams or not.

Success or failure would be entirely up to me at SFI.

I keep my goals and dreams clearly before me. I refuse to give up or give in to my feelings. (as they are so fickle) I keep putting one foot in front of the other, day after day. Now I know success will surely come.

The performance or non-performance of my team members, up-line leaders or occasional set-backs along the way cannot demotivate or deter me from my goal now.

In fact, I now use this focus to motivate and fire up the rest of my team as well.

My greatest challenge is communication and explanation. I am not good at talking face to face with people and find that with the powers of the internet, I am able to easily overcome this.

I draft heaps of letters in Word program and save them to my computer and adjust the wording, depending on what is asked of me. I utilize all of the business marketing aids and other ideas which are supplied free by SFI Management and take snippets out to incorporate in my letters.

As I wanted to provide my Team with interesting Newsletters each week, I needed to know the details myself before I could provide it to my Team, thus it served twofold as I was learning at the same time.

I encouraged my Team members to communicate with me either by email or instant chat with their questions and I hope I have fulfilled this aspect.
