Companies that are not online choose not to be for a reason. Find out that reason before you mention the ECA program. The reason is someone from the company must be responsible for maintaining the ECA and fulfillment. They may not have the staff for that so an inactive ECA is just useless as a inactive PSA. You are looking for prospects who want to expand their customer base and have the infrastructure in place to support distribution of products wherever they are needed. Some business choose to stay local and are not interested in a global presence. In this case, you might mention that you can expand your local market as well by having an online presence. Sales can be done in such a way to make shopping the store advantageous or vice-versa. At any rate, a local ECA merchant has a lot to gain by selling more products locally so that's the best angle to come from in that case.

Frankly no.When I advertise for ECA"s on -line,first thing in my ads say "If you already sell on-line." All the suggested material says that too.

That is because when they sign up,Trippleclicks will be taking care of them.


Off line promotion takes some steps for you to appear professional.Start with the local small business shops you frequent.Ask if they have a website or business card.If they have a card the website should be on it.

Ask if they they know how to use the internet. Proceed only if those questions produce a yes.

You did not ask,but I would then ask permission to sent them some material about our low cost advertising.If yes,give them your business card with your picture on it.

I would have ordered ECA suggested materials for this kind of advertising.Staple or tape another business card to the material.Now mail one copy to you and one to the customer.Wait 2 days after you receive your copy,then call for an appointment.

I did this kind of advertising before and this is the suggested procedure Gery suggests too.
After you get a couple of sign-ups you now have some referrals for your business.

I once came across such question from a friend, here was whst I got.

"At the very minimum, ECAs will need to be able to send and receive e-mails and be able to access the ECA administration Web pages at TripleClicks.com to enter their listings, etc.

Frankly, any business that is not yet using the Internet is probably missing out on sales. You may wish to respectfully point this out and show them how easy our program makes it for them to get started doing business online.

Indeed, all the heavy lifting is done for them. We provide the eyeballs, take the orders for them, and handle all the payment processing.

All they basically have to do is fulfill the orders that we forward to them", and how will they fulfil orders when they don't get order alert.

Therefore its not advisable go ahead with that unless you are ready to upgrade them into internet users. That's it!

ECA program can be promoted to businesses which are not online or use internet in business operation. Simply to inform the business owners, employees and consumers about the program of SFI. The Reasons are:

1. In terms of customer " Likes " and " Preference " people love to order things from
the comfort of their homes;

2. People like to have things discussed/clarified with regards to their products,
quickly, then and there;

3. This will help them to take a decision on purchase of products on the sport;

4. They do not like to spend or waste their time by visiting Stores personally;

5. They are forced to do this due to paucity of time/work culture vis a vis their
passion to spend more time with their loved ones;

6. On line transactions are very handy for today's younger generation who are internet
savvy and time conscious;

7. The enjoy very many payment options & no need to pay by Cash;

Further, it is observed that traditional business houses are resorting to E-Commerce
business on a massive scale today.

Any businesses that are NOT online and /or do not currently use the internet will fall by the wayside very soon!! They will not be able to match the competition in Terms of Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction!!!

To me as long as they have products and there are people willing to buy them then just bring them in. This is your business and if you want to earn that extra income please go out of your way and help them set it up online.
