"How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?"

Hello Maja !

In order to provide Positive but Consturctive criticism, should make use of genealogy tool. Go to various tabs to access lists of SFI ID, name, title, VP totals to date and for current month, sponsor ID, generation, date joined, the affiliate's last login date, CSA assign date, and keycode of your affiliates.

Tab S-Builder displays your team

Dear Maja,

I find your question a good one - as I am sure most of us Team leaders get frustrated at the slow progress of many if not all, of our Affiliates, and feel at times we want to give them a push with some 'constructive criticism'...

However, SFI ethics do not give us that mandate - because our job is to encourage our downline to be more active. We do this by guiding them to the various aspects of the SFI training programme that will help them.

Don't forget

hi Maja

Personally, I do not like the word criticism, even "positive" criticism.

I always suggest for the word to be replaced by "constructive". Diplomacy should be used when addressing problem areas. Rather supply information to "coach" the person in the direction you would like him/her to go. For example; if you notice they log in not very often, suggest a "game" where the team submits the days/hours they spend per week on SFI or TripleClicks.

Well I guess we can all provide positive but constructive criticisms in my emails to our downline and I would do the following:

Send them e- cards congratulating and encouraging them and offer some tips and constructive feedback and treat everyone of them sincerely and as equal partners and never talk down or sound too arrogant or boastful .

It is best to be humble and keep it all simple short and. Sweet and slow.and must come from the heart and don't be too quick to click

Hi Maja, you are only privileged to be their sponsor. You have to understand that they own their business. So your email should be persuasive and in form of encouragement always. Use the following as a guide:

1. See your team members as colleagues and not your sub-ordinate, therefore don't be too pushy in what you want them to do.
2. Carefully select your words to be in form of advice rather than criticizing.
3. Use inclusive words like "we", "our", "all

When you are giving positive constructive criticism you must consider what you needed to do to encourage your downline with your positive experience as well as the experience that didn't go well. For example I participated in the penny auctions, but lost most of the time. I realized
taking part in the auctions I am earning member reward points which I can use for buying products of my choice. I would let the downline know
this is an action that will increase my VersaPoints. Whatever you

Im not sure if you wanted example but here is some text that you can use. You can forward it but it is cold truth. Afterall it is simple. Hope this will help:

“I tried it and it didn’t work”

“I hope this will work”

“I’m going to give it a shot”

These are all thoughts from a weak minded person. If this is you i’m sorry, but you must hear it.

I was once like this myself and that was the very reason i was broke, miserable

Hi Maja
One of our jobs as upline members is to provide our downline with motivation, inspiration, and help to create and maintain momentum.
Don't criticise. Instead show them the wrong/bad thing that they are doing. Then show them the negative impact/results of what they are doing. Show them how it will negatively affect their business.
Remember that when talking to them, it is always about their benefit not yours. Always put them first. You are here to help them achieve what they

You cannot give criticism either positive or otherwise to your down line.
Your are their team leader and the buck stops with you. If they have an inadequate grasp of their business you have a responsibility to identify and give them the correct guidance.
If you identify an area where they are having difficulty, you should contact them by a direct team mail or email and I normally start off with
“You appear to have difficulty with this” (I then state the area) I go onto give

When you are trying to do your best to help your downline understand SFI and how it works, how to get them to invest in Standing order, the importance of logging in daily and earning VP, and generally how to become EA and how to maintain it, and your downline decides to take a day off, or worse, a week off, and has not communicated one way or the other, has not shown any activity, it's enough to make you lose your cool. So, what to say in your emails?

I would not mention anything at
