How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?

I guess my question is why do you need to have any Criticism involved at all at anytime in any email.

This business is about helping one another to become good if not excellent Team Leaders. Growth and development of people is built on encouragement, guidance and duplication. So the Leader I want to be is one that leads by actions and the encouraging words that I give to each one of my Team Affilates. I would strongly suggest you offer no comments that could be construed as "criticism"!!

Rather, use e-cards, send them tips about how they might do so-and-so differently to get a better result, or suggest they go ahead and get the extra Daily Grand entry by rating the additional 20 answers every day.

Should it be positive AND constructive criticism?

Anyway,if it is positive then it could also be constructive.
It is really best not to send any negative statements at all especially if you don't know them personally yet.

Maybe you can try sharing or telling a story of successful people and how they can be successful too doing what they have done. Some rags to riches story where overcoming obstacles and hindrances with sheer

Be positive, tell them everything you consider they ought to know and advise them as much as you can. They will be grateful, you will see. Try not to tell them what they shouldn't do, but what they should do. Advise them nicely and politely and you will see their progress in short time. Some are fast learners, some are not, but just be patient.

Hello Maja

Sending emails to your downline is a great motivation because your downline knows you are a team builder. Make those emails short, simple and sweet.

The objective of your emails should be of relevance and specific to what is required to be done by an EA, ( ie: duplication, transfer buying and advertising SFI and TripleClicks) to build a prosperous online business.

Your Constructive criticisms should motivate your downline to achieve their goals.

E-mails one of way comunication with your downline.

You'll find E-mail addresses your Team on your Genealogy in the COMMUNICATION format screen—Just go to your Genealogy, select the "Communications" tab. Or, just click the envelope icon on any format screen to send an e-mail.

Send out weekly Team E-mail with instructions on how to maintain the achieved status.

I believe it is important that you start your email with words of praise or encouragement by acknowledging the work that has been done. Don't just jump in by listing items that need to be, or should be, done. You can always find an encouraging word - tell them that you have noticed they have completed certain tasks, or they are making great progress in certain areas. Then suggest 'next steps' that you think they should be pursuing - or alternate routes or tasks that they could

In SFI I duplicate my successfull upline. They only send me positive emails, encouraging, positive. No criticism at all. Giving me the information I need, sometimes asking me questions. And since my upline is successfull and SFI is all about duplicating I do the same. Encouring, positive and inquiring emails. Stimulating with sincere attention for the person the affiliate is and with lots of humour. Only when someone in my downline shows committment and works with me for several weeks I might consider

Understand that you are not talking to an employee. You have NO authority over your affiliate. If you understand that before sending the email, you are not as likely to come across in a negative way.

If you think you have spotted a weakness, approach them with something like: "Hi John, I was thinking about how I do ......and I was wondering if you have ever tried this?"
