What should I do when I receive inactive CSAs?

Be an awesome sponsor to them. Some might be inactive because their sponsors are inactive and so might not understand the program since there is no one to guide them.

I have an inactive sponsor but that has not discouraged me, rather I looked up to my CoSponsor for assistance who has been very helpful and supportive. Another important factor is the language barrier.

Some affiliates do not come from English speaking countries and so find it hard to understand the program.

I think they should be treated in the same way as our PSA. Do not give up on them. Never.

I will quote one of our fellow affiliate:

When you receive inactive CSAs, chances are that you will first need to change your attitude from "drat, I got a bunch of losers" to "I wonder how many are just needing a great co-sponsor?"

An inactive CSA is an affiliate whose sponsor has not been able to get him started in SFI. It may be the sponsor's inactivity, but it may be several other reasons, also.

When you receive inactive CSAs don't forget to count your blessings. You either won them or was awarded them so be thankful. Next thing is to draft a short introduction letter about your experience in SFI. Assure them that you are available to support them 150%. In most cases, you will not get a response but it doesn't mean that they are not following up on your progress.

Generally affiliates that want to succeed jump in with both feet and hit the ground running. Those that don't

First: Introduce yourself and briefly explain why you became involved with SFI. I like to tell them that the thing that impressed me the most was the honesty!

It really doesn't matter whether your affiliates are CSAs or PSAs. It doesn't matter if they are active or inactive. You treat them the same. Communicate with them at least once per week, just as you do your entire team. Keep encouraging them. You never know what people will do. Work with the workers, but don't leave the others out of the loop. They may just see the value of SFI and TripleClicks. They have one year to prove they are interested, unless they decide to opt out.

I try to usually analyse some of these questions by relating to real life situations which people have experienced. For example having a child who may start out slow but exceeds all expectations when he/she tops the class! The parents feel proud at not having given up on him/her.

Inactive CSAs are those slow starters who need time, patience and constant motivation to take the next step forward. I would also include in the regular mailer, my own achievements in SFI in the hope that it

Good question!

And the answer is obvious!You try communicating and motivating them through various methods in your way. Who knows they start performing under you and won't stop working thereafter. If that is the case, it can turn out to be a lottery ticket for you with winning numbers, we never know the fate of an individual.

This is a great question especially for new team leaders because they will start to receive second home CSA's and sometimes they are inactive.

What I recommend is the same thing I tell everyone treat them like they were active and keep sending them your weekly newsletter as well as an occasional individualized letter addressed to each CSA who is inactive, from your personal e-mail address. Do you have inactive PSAs, too? What do you do with them?

I treat all my team members, PSAs and CSAs the same. You don't have to, because SFI gives you a chance to mail only PSAs or only CSAs, but you can also sent emails to the whole team. In my opinion, the message you are sending should be visible to all. Everybody in your team needs to know:

- who you are (the person behind the sponsor)
- how successful you are and how you achieved it
